This section consists of 2 Modules that give important information to the Learner as he/ she now progresses from the basics to the status of becoming a competent welder.
The two Modules are:
3.1 Weld Joint Preparation
3.2 Welding Positions
The First module shows the preparation of joints prior to their welding, including machining, alignment, set-up and selection of joint type for the application.
The second module gives the classification of weld joints according to the various welding positions.
